Foster Care & Adoption

Renew hope. Inspire change.

We Need Resource Families!

A “Resource Family” is a new term that means someone who can provide a variety of options for a child, be it foster, adoption, or guardianship. There are more than 400,000 foster youth in the United States, and more than 50,000 in California alone!

The Children

Thousands of children in Southern California need safe, nurturing homes. Most of all, they need your loving care, guidance and commitment. David & Margaret Foster Care and Adoption Services works in collaboration with counties to place children awaiting homes. We work with Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino and Riverside counties.

These children have been removed from their homes for a variety of reasons, including neglect, physical, sexual and/or emotional abuse. They may be in foster care on a short-term or long-term basis. The children are all ages, from newborns to 21. Many are also siblings who do not want to be separated. The majority of these children will be reunited with their families, but about one in four will become available for adoption.

Will you provide a home for a child in need?
