Be a Foster Parent!
Thousands of foster children in Southern California need safe, nurturing foster homes.  Most of all, they need your loving care, guidance and commitment.

Foster children and youth have been removed from their own homes for a variety of reasons, including neglect, physical, sexual and/or emotional abuse. They may be in foster care on a short-term or long-term basis.  Foster children are all ages, from infants to teens.  Many are also siblings who don’t want to be separated.  Many children return to their families, but others are in need of a permanent home and adoption or guardianship may be a possibility.

The David & Margaret Foster Family Agency provides...

• foster home screening and certification
• ongoing foster parent training
• weekly support from an agency social worker
• highly skilled 24-hour staff support
• child and family therapy as appropriate
• a monthly stipend to assist in meeting the children’s needs

Foster Parents...

1. come from all races, religions and walks-of-life
2. may be married or single
3. must be financially stable
4. must have enough physical space in their home for a child
